Dancing Vase Tangelo

Created by Melbourne-based artist Juyeon Kim, the Dancing Vase in Tangelo reflects her organic, highly individual approach to ceramic sculpture, informed by traditional and contemporary Korean techniques. Hand-built with a flowing, wave-like silhouette, it evokes a figure caught mid-twirl. Water-tight and sculptural, it can be styled with stems or displayed alone. The hand-glazed finish is intentionally mottled and speckled, with pronounced variation in tone and surface movement that makes each piece uniquely its own.
